Here
you are
with yourself

Such a muddy priest—
indeed a man
who needs a God’s Day

After A Long, Deep Embrace
He: Oh. The world.
She: Who put that there?

*

Amazed at how every
one on the bus treated
each other decently

We all
must relate
angel-to-angel

We forget that we stand
in divine light—
and then we remember again

*

Musicians—
always tooting
their own horns!

Fascination
rather than
obsession

An endless
series of
firsts

*

Those for whom humanity
is a nagging
inconvenience

Music—
is my solace from loneliness
making me lonely?

Pretty enough
to make
you dream

*

Taking good
care of yourself
is prayer

Live and learn.
And forget.
And remember again.

Tears can
make you see
more clearly

*

People are
only as good
as you are

Only illusion
requires such
vehemence

Buddha’s example:
calm clear-eyed
child on the train
