Fallling Star

He caught a falling star and
Put it in his pocket
Saved it for a rainy day

Used his thoughts for fuel and
Sailed off on a rocket
Better than the other way

All I’ve have is this power
In my mind
History’s treating me
So unkind

The voices and the noise the
Slander and the gossip
Brothers tear each other down

A little drop of love drips
From a rusty faucet
All the other poisons drown

All I’ve have is this power
In my mind
History’s treating me
So unkind

Rulers use the rules to
Fill up all their pockets
Slaves to all the games they play

Lovers live for love what
Plugs them in the socket
To power them another way

All I’ve have is this power
In my mind
History’s treating me
So unkind
