Flashes Eight

Those who’d steal
the music
from your soul

At work I’m a
paper-pushing
people person

“The shortest distance
between two points
—is a point!”

*

Suddenly
happy for
no reason at all

The world
looks terrible
when you’re broken down

A white-haired
pink-cheeked
old lady!

*

Sometimes friends
recommend works of art
to future versions of yourself

Those who run
the world
and those who live in it

Man
that doctor
is sick!

The best way to
disempower celebrities
is to ignore them

*

Christ!
The son of God
is Humanity

Almost always
people
are bluffing

Each day is a spell,
a chime
in a churning universe
