Sister Sister

Sister sister here comes the night
We can fight it with all of our might
We’ll still lose
Some things you can’t choose

Stars almost whisper from their places on high
The moon is shining like dazzling eye
A cool jewel
I’m a happy fool with you

I love this leaping lifting up my life
A single simple sigh
Both of us breathing here beneath the sky
It’s all right

If we’re kissing an our lives leap like light
We’ll know this moment like a shimmering chime
And we’ll fly
Riding on a rhyme

Sister sister this is our time
A glowing poem in an ocean of night
A design
Tying your life’s light to mine

I love this leaping lifting up my life
A single simple sigh
Both of us breathing here beneath the sky
It’s all right

Oh you know we’re both strangers in this world
Oh you know we’re both strangers in this world
Oh you know we’re both strangers in this world
But you know
Now it doesn’t seem so cold
